  • Barry O'Flynn
    Barry O'Flynn Senior Director Dublin Office

    Mr. O’Flynn is a Senior Director in Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors, with 15 years’ experience in the global energy infrastructure sector, as a developer, investor and financial advisor.

    Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. O’Flynn was a Director in EY’s UK-based Corporate Finance division, leading international activities for the Power & Utilities team. At EY, he led numerous strategic advisory, capital-raising and transaction mandates for international developers, investors, IPPs and corporations across Europe and Latin America.

    Mr. O’Flynn spent the previous decade in a range of senior corporate finance and corporate development roles for global renewable energy developers, Airtricity and Mainstream Renewable Power. During this period, he was responsible for origination, market entry and investment into the European, Middle Eastern, African and Chinese markets and led two equity capital-raises for more than €100M.

    Mr. O’Flynn holds both undergraduate and postgraduate engineering degrees, an MBA and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

  • Seán Diffney
    Seán Diffney Director Dublin Office

    Mr. Diffney is a Director of Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors and a member of its financial modelling team. He has experience working across a wide variety of sectors including transportation, energy, renewables and waste. Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. Diffney worked as a Model Developer with the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation in Dublin his responsibilities included using Monte Carlo simulations and scorecard models to generate probability of default statistics for the Irish and UK loan books.
    Before this Mr. Diffney worked with the Economic and Social Research Institute where his focus was the long term modelling of the Irish electricity market. His research was provided to the Irish Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to inform government decisions on energy policy and his work has been published in academic journals. Mr Diffney holds a First Class Honours Master’s Degree in Economics from UCD and BA in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin.

  • Arlynejane Divilly
    Arlynejane Divilly Director Dublin Office

    Mrs. Divilly is a Director with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, she was a Director and Head of Kohlberg and Company’s longevity investments (Chronos Group) where her primary responsibilities included the investment decisions and active management of a $1 billion life settlement portfolio, capital market relationships and investor reporting.

    Before this, Mrs. Divilly worked with J.P.Morgan where her responsibilities included a senior role in executing and trading alternative fixed income and cross-asset structured products. Mrs. Divilly also worked on the structured credit desk advising on the origination, structuring and execution of multiple asset backed securitisations.

    Mrs. Divilly holds a First Class Honours Master’s Degree in Mathematical Finance from Imperial College, London and a BSc in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin, where she received the Dean’s List Award in consecutive years.

  • Miguel Calvo Moya
    Miguel Calvo Moya Director Dublin Office

    Mr. Calvo has experience across a broad spectrum of sectors including transportation, energy and social infrastructure both in North America and Spain. Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. Calvo worked as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Public Finance Team in Spain providing modelling and financial advisory services on infrastructure projects. Mr. Calvo started his professional career as a banker with BBVA’s Project Finance team in New York providing support in all aspects of the deal process, from marketing and transaction origination through due diligence and credit approval to financial close. Mr. Calvo holds an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering by Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI) as well as a Masters in Quantitative Finance by Universidad de Alcala.

  • Janice Rush
    Janice Rush Associate Director Dublin Office

    Ms Rush is an Associate Director of Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon Ms Rush was a PMI certified Project Manager in the Automation/IT Department in Intel (Ireland) Limited. In this role her responsibilities included management of local and global application installs, resource scheduling, liaising with customers and Chair of the departments CCB. Prior to assuming this role, Ms Rush was a Software Engineer for Decision Support Systems group providing application support for customers on the factory floor.

    Before this Ms Rush was an Office Manager of three accountancy practices for 7 years. Ms Rush has a BSc in Computer Applications degree from DCU and is a qualified Accounting Technician.

  • Andrew Hartnett
    Andrew Hartnett Associate Director Dublin Office

    Mr. Hartnett is an Associate Director of Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. Hartnett was the Financial Reporting Manager at City Office REIT, which listed on the New York Stock Exchange in April 2014. Mr Hartnett was responsible for all SEC reporting requirements and was a member of the finance team which raised two follow-on equity offerings and acquired over $200 million in assets with the proceeds.

    Mr. Hartnett is a Chartered Accountant having trained with KPMG where he provided audit and advisory services to a wide range of clients in Ireland. Prior to this, Mr. Hartnett studied Business and Economics in Trinity College Dublin.

  • Alan Hickey
    Alan Hickey Associate Director Dublin Office

    Mr. Hickey is an Associate Director of Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors and joined Rubicon having obtained his Masters in Finance from DCU where he graduated with a first class honours. Prior to this, Mr. Hickey worked in the funds industry for a number of years with responsibility for the day to day valuation and modelling of complex financial products. Mr. Hickey has previously worked for both Invesco and Northern Trust, where in addition to completing valuations he also oversaw Invesco’s investment restriction monitoring activities, advising the firms Fund Managers on a day to day to basis.

    Mr. Hickey is a CFA charterholder and also holds a BSc in Business Studies from Dublin Institute of Technology.

  • Lisa Cotter
    Lisa Cotter Senior Compliance Officer Dublin Office

    Ms. Cotter is a Senior Compliance Officer of Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Ms. Cotter is an investment professional with over 20 years significant regulatory compliance, operational and consultancy experience in asset management and investment funds. Ms. Cotter commenced her career with Allianz Global Investors (Ireland) Ltd, responsible for the financial reporting and the product development of Irish UCITS and alternative investment funds into the German market. On joining Coronation Global Fund Managers (Ireland) Ltd, an asset manager, she became Managing Director overseeing the operational investment restrictions and regulatory compliance of their South African, Cayman and Irish Fund of Hedge Funds range. Latterly Ms. Cotter has carried out Central Bank of Ireland approved functions with Irish consultancy firms advising on governance, risk and compliance to global firms managing assets under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).

  • Ewa Pietrzak
    Ewa Pietrzak Senior Associate Dublin Office

    Ms. Pietrzak is a Senior Associate with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, Ms. Pietrzak worked as an associate with PwC in Poland providing modelling and financial advisory services for the purpose of capital raising and/or financial restructuring on infrastructure and energy projects. Ms. Pietrzak started her professional career with ING Securities in Warsaw providing support in all aspects of the transaction process for M&A and IPO transactions. Ms. Pietrzak obtained a Masters in Finance and Accounting at Warsaw School of Economics.

  • Ben Geraghty
    Ben Geraghty Senior Associate Dublin Office

    Mr. Geraghty is a Senior Associate with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. Geraghty worked within J.P. Morgan’s mutual funds division where he was the lead contact for several large fund managers and where his primary responsibilities included day-to-day oversight of derivative valuations along with the development of models to automate and streamline manual processes. Prior to this, Mr. Geraghty studied Mathematics & Economics in Trinity College Dublin where he graduated with a joint first class honours degree.

  • Inigo Rodriguez de Tembleque
    Inigo Rodriguez de Tembleque Associate Dublin Office

    Mr. Rodriguez is an Associate of Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. Rodriguez worked as a consultant with Vector Cuatro (Falck Renewables) in Spain providing modelling and financial advisory services on renewable energy projects. Mr. Rodriguez started his professional career as a consultant with Deloitte Transaction Advisory Services team in Madrid, providing support in all aspects of the due diligence process over Real Estate transactions. Mr. Rodriguez graduated in Business Administration and Finance by the Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF).

  • Stephen Kearney
    Stephen Kearney Associate Dublin Office

    Mr. Kearney is an Associate with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors and joined Rubicon following his graduation from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School with a Masters in Energy and Environmental Finance. Mr. Kearney graduated at the top of his class and was the winner of the SCB Group sponsorship for outstanding academic performance. Prior to this, Mr. Kearney studied BSc Finance in University College Cork where he graduated with first class honours. Mr. Kearney has successfully passed all three levels of the CFA Program and may be awarded the charter upon completion of the required work experience.

  • Antoine Arduin
    Antoine Arduin Senior Analyst Dublin Office

    Mr. Arduin is a Senior Analyst with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, he worked as an analyst with the Project Finance team of RES France, where he was involved in renewable transactions exceeding an aggregate capacity of 100MW, and supported the transaction teams in UK, Turkey and Japan. Prior to his post with RES, Mr. Arduin worked as an analyst with Vinci Airports where he was part of the Business Development team focussing on bids for Airports Concessions in the EMEA zone. During his time at university, Mr. Arduin also had an internship with RFF (French railway infrastructure company), where he worked as an economist.

    Mr. Arduin graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and holds a Master in Project Finance (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech – Université Paris Ouest La Défense). He has also lectured in Renewable Energy Project Finance at the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech.

  • Matthew Dooley
    Matthew Dooley Senior Analyst Dublin Office

    Mr. Dooley is a Senior Analyst with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors and joined Rubicon following his graduation from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School with a Masters in Quantitative Finance MSc. Mr. Dooley was one of only two students invited to have his paper, completed as part of the Security Analysis and Valuation module, published on the Yale School of Management website. Prior to this, Mr. Dooley studied BSc Economics and Finance in University College Dublin.

  • Gavin Murphy
    Gavin Murphy Analyst Dublin Office

    Mr. Murphy is an Analyst with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors, who first became involved with the company as an intern. While studying for a BSc in Economics & Finance in UCD, Mr. Murphy received two scholarships based on exceptional academic performance, and graduated with first class honours. Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. Murphy worked in Deloitte as part of the Transaction Services team, where he assisted in performing financial due diligence on M&A projects.

  • Cormac Clay
    Cormac Clay Analyst Dublin Office

    Mr. Clay is an Analyst with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors, who joined after previously completing an internship with the firm. Mr. Clay graduated from University College Dublin achieving a BBL Bachelor of Business and Law double major. During his time at University College Dublin he was the Vice-Auditor and Treasurer of the Investor and Entrepreneurs Society - Ireland’s largest professional student society and achieved numerous academic and extra-curricular awards. Prior to joining Rubicon, Mr. Clay completed an internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers working within the Corporate Finance and Transaction Services departments providing M&A support to large international M&A transactions.

  • Javier Sanz-Pastor
    Javier Sanz-Pastor Analyst Dublin Office

    Mr. Sanz-Pastor is an Analyst with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, he took part in Banco Bilbao Vizacaya’s Graduate Programme where he rotated across M&A Europe, Corporate Loans & Leveraged Finance, and Financial Sponsors teams. While at BBVA, he was involved in the structuring of the world’s first green loan awarded to Tradebe and the acquisition financing of Mémora by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, among other transactions.

    Mr. Sanz-Pastor graduated in International Business Administration (E-4) by the Comillas Pontificial University in Madrid and Northeastern University in Boston and is currently studying for the CFA exams.

  • Manuel López-Diaz
    Manuel López-Diaz Analyst Dublin Office

    Mr. López-Diaz is an Analyst with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, he graduated from ICAI School of Engineering, Madrid with a MSc in Industrial Engineering. He also holds an MPhil in Nuclear Energy from the University of Cambridge, for which he was awarded a scholarship from the Iberdrola España Foundation. Before this, Mr. López-Diaz obtained a BSc in Electromechanical Engineering from ICAI, where he was awarded the Excellence Scholarship from the Region of Madrid, for academic merit for four consecutive years. In parallel, he is also completing a BSc in Physics at UNED, Madrid.

    Ms. Arribas is the Office Administrator of Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors. Prior to joining Rubicon, Ms. Arribas worked with Zurich Life Assurance plc. Ms. Arribas has an Honours Degree in English Studies and spent an academic year studying at University of Birmingham as part of the Erasmus exchange programme. She also has a Masters in Audio-visual Translation.
